PRODUCT 1: The hint!® Toolkit

The hint! Toolkit provides a comprehensive group of programs and tools:
  • HINT for Sybyl* including source
  • HINT for InsightII* (ver 235i only) including source
  • HintLogP StandAlone including source
  • HINT function libraries
  • PDB Crystallographers libraries
    *Sybyl is a product of Tripos, Inc.
    *InsightII is a product of Accelrys.
    This product provides executables, makefiles, source and libraries that allow one to investigate hydropathy (hydophobicity and hydorphilicity) with PDB structures as well as any structure that can be validated with Sybyl, InsightII, Daylight SMILES or OpenEye's OELIB. Functions include docking scores for AutoDock, FlexX and GOLD, 3D hydropathy maps, titration, cavity mapping, molecular LogP, atomistic LogP, and more.
    The Toolkit is offered on the following platforms:
  • SGI Irix
  • Red Hat Linux
  • Mac OS-X
    Extensive sample source code, including examples of many hint! and PDB functions are provided.

    -HINT for Sybyl

    New tools for scoring docking results from AutoDock, FlexX and GOLD

    -HintLogP:

    text-based input/output reads databases of SMILES, MOL, MOL2, SDF files to report molecule level or atom level LogP values and hydropathy (hydrophobic/hydrophilic) based descriptors (some descriptors require 3D structures).

    -PDB Toolkit

    A truly comprehensive and exhaustive I/O subroutine set for reading and writing PDB files that recognizes and deals with crystallographic data and quirks.

    -HINT Toolkit libraries

    for in-house development of tools, e.g., scoring etc.

    PRODUCT 2: HintLogP 3.12+

    Text-based input/output reads databases of SMILES, MOL, MOL2, SDF files to report MOLECULE level or ATOM level LogP values and hydropathy (hydrophobic/hydropilic) based descriptors (some descriptors require 3D structures). Input uses both the Daylight SMILES toolkit v491 and OElib from OpenEye Scientific Software) for SMILES, MDL's SDF, MOL and Tripos' MOL2. It is available for:
  • SGI Irix
  • Red Hat Linux
  • Windows2000/XP/Vista
  • Mac OS-X
