eduSoft, LC Support Contracts
HINT Support Contract
Maintenance and software support for the program HINT!® shall be
provided by eduSoft, LC for the term of the contract at a cost of US$60.00/month/program
(Commercial), US$24.00/month/program (Non-commercial) and US$12.00/month/program
(Educational) for the interfaced versions, and at a cost of US$35.00/month/program
(Commercial), US$15.00/month/program (Non-commercial) and US$7.50/month/program
(Educational) for the standalone version. Note: 1) that the standalone version of
HINT is a subset of the interfaced versions and is thus supported automatically with
support of any of the interfaced versions; and 2) each HINT interface module (i.e.,
interfaces for Sybyl, InsightII, Chem-X, etc.) are considered as separate programs.
The cost, however, is independent of the number of licenses at a specific "site".
Additional sites, licensed as part of a multi-site network license are supported at
a cost of US$30.00/month/program, US$12.00/month/program and US$6.00/month/program for
Commercial, Non-commercial and Educational users, respectively.
The "Host" software suites (Sybyl, InsightII, Chem-X, etc.) are constantly
evolving. Each new release of these programs requires significant
changes in the HINT interfaces in order to maintain the viability of HINT
within the most recent versions of the "Host" suites. EduSoft, LC will update
and release our programs on a schedule intended to coincide with the major releases of
the "Host" software suites.
The purchaser of a support contract is entitled to the following:
- Phone/Fax/EMail response to questions, problems, etc. about the
software usage, limitations, design, etc.
- An expectation that errors brought to the attention of the program
designers will be corrected and that a replacement version of the
software will be made available in a reasonable time frame.
- Access to and delivery of (either by ethernet FTP or with conventional
media via mail/courier service) enhanced and updated versions of the
software as they become available.
If eduSoft, LC can not provide satisfactory service for any of the above contract
items, the contract can be terminated at the purchaser's option with written 30
day notice. EduSoft, LC may also cancel the contract with 30 day written notice to the
purchaser. In either case, the purchaser will be refunded for the remaining
term of the contract.
Molconn-Z Support Contract
Maintenance and software support for the program Molconn-Z shall be
provided by eduSoft, LC/Hall Associates Consulting for the term of the contract
at a cost of US$50.00/month/program (Commercial), US$20.00/month/program (Non-commercial)
and US$10.00/month/program (Educational) for the interfaced versions, and at a cost
of US$30.00/month/program (Commercial), US$12.00/month/program (Non-commercial)
and US$6.00/month/program (Educational) for the standalone version. Note: 1) that
the standalone version of Molconn-Z is a subset of the interfaced version and is thus

(Commercial), US$10.00/month/program (Non-commercial) and US$5.00/month/program
(Educational) for the interfaced versions.
Note that each HASL interface module (i.e.,
interface for Sybyl, and other programs as may become available) are considered as separate
programs. The cost, however, is independent of the number of licenses at

eduSoft, LC/OpenEye Scientific Software for the term of the contract at a cost of US$50.00/month/program
(Commercial), US$20.00/month/program (Non-commercial) and US$5.00/month/program
(Educational) for the basic interfaced Zap programs and for US$110.00/month/program
(Commercial), US$44.00/month/program (Non-commercial) and US$11.00/month/program
(Educational) for the advanced interfaced ZapHV programs.
Note that each Zap interface module (i.e.,
interface for Sybyl, and other programs as may become available) are considered as separate
programs. The cost, however, is independent of the number of licenses at
a specific "site". Additional Zap sites, licensed as part of a multi-site
network license are supported at a cost of US$25.00/month/program,
US$10.00/month/program and US$2.50/month/program for Commercial, Non-commercial
and Educational users, respectively. Additional ZapHV sites are supported
at a cost of US$55.00/month/program,
US$22.00/month/program and US$5.50/month/program for Commercial, Non-commercial
and Educational users, respectively.
